This month the programming will include a trunk show from the 2018 Heritage Park Quilter of Distinction, Vanecea Greene from Alberta Batting Co.
There will be no sew day in August and the Charity Table has been retired until potentially next spring. Don't forget to bring your finished QuiltCon 2019 Charity Quilt Blocks, your Summer Challenge Colour Wheel by the September meeting and full payment for the Poppyprint Workshops.
There are just a couple of spots left in the Round Peg Square Hole workshop. If you have registered for a workshop you should have already received a confirmation email listing what you have paid and what is still owing - contact us if you haven't received it or think it is incorrect.

The dues cycle is January-December and they are $60 per person in 2018. Members who join after June will pay $40. First meeting is free for visitors, then $10 for a single meeting (fees could be more for special programming). After that we ask you to support and join our community by purchasing a membership to attend additional meetings and sew days and to participate in other guild activities. If you purchase your 2019 membership on or before Wednesday December 12th you'll be entered in a draw to win a fabulous prize pack at our December meeting!
As a member of the guild you have the opportunity to participate in block lotto's. By making at least one of the prescribed blocks for the month you will be entered into the draw for all of the blocks. Even if you don't win the blocks, your block will end up in a fellow guild member's quilt. We usually do about 8-10 lotto's a year and you have one year to complete a top. Just in the last year we've done:
- Rally Block
- Economy Blocks
- Side Stripe
- Urban Chicken
- Checker Block
- Two by Four
- Wonky Christmas Trees
- Birds of a Feather
- It Takes a Village
- Modern Starlings
- Modern Maples
